NEET stands for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test which is conducted by CBSE.

If you have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks with PCB from a recognized board then you are eligible for NEET exam.

The minimum age should be 17 years. There is no maximum age criteria for NEET exam.

NEET exam pattern for 2014:-

Total Number of Questions: 180
Total Time: 3 hours
Negative Marking: 1/4th the total marks

Physics- 45 Questions
Chemistry- 45 Questions
Botany- 45 Questions
Zoology- 45 Questions

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and this exam is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and this exam is conducted for candidates to be short listed for admissions to MBBS/BDS course.

This exam is of 3 hours duration with 180 objective type questions in it.

As you have asked for the information regarding the minimum percentage which is needed in +2, it is that the candidate should have got 50% for General category candidates and there are certain relaxation for other category such as 40% for SC/ST in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.

If you satisfy the above mentioned criteria then you can apply for the NEET exam.
