Is my son eligible for KCET after studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tamil Nadu?
I am domicile of Karnataka & studies 12 years in Karnataka presently working in public sector unit. I am presently posted in Tamilnadu. My son is studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya in Tamilnadu. What criteria will be for KCET eligibility in Karnataka?

Eligibility criteria for KCET examination:
>A candidate must be an Indian citizen and bonafide resident of Karnataka. >The candidate should have passed 12th standard examination or its equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. >Candidate need to score at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination. >Marks relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates. >Those candidates who are waiting for the results of qualifying examination are also eligible to take up KCET examination. So, if your son satisfies above mentioned criteria, then he is eligible to appear for KCET examination. |

No, your son is not eligible to appear in KCET examination, if he has passed 12th standard examination from Kendriya Vidyalaya, TamilNadu. Only candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination from Karnataka recognised school are eligible to appear in KCET examination. Since, your son has passed 12th standard form Kendriya Vidyalaya, TamilNadu, he is not eligible to appear in KCET examination.

If you have domicile of Karnataka, then surely your son will be eligible for KCET. Students who study at different place due to transfer of parent due to government service are surely eligible for domicile.
No need to worry about anything. Your son is surely eligible for all the benefits, a normal Karnataka domicile will get. |

If you and your ward is a domicile of Karnataka, then definitely he can apply for KCET, there must not be any kind of problem in it.
Candidates those who have completed their class 12th from a recognized Board with a minimum of 45% of marks in it studying Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can very much eligible to apply for KCET examination. |

Yes your son is eligible to apply for KCET.
For KCET a candidate must fulfill following criteria- A candidate must be 12th passed with PCM or PCB. A candidate must be an Indian citizen. A candidate have to score 45% marks in KCET exam. |
