Quote:
Students after completion of 10+2 without Mathematics subject can pursue BTech Biotechnology or BTech Bioinformatics or BTech Food Technology courses. You can study the above mentioned courses in some universities / colleges without mathematics subject in Class XII. Admission to the above mentioned courses are done on the basis of an entrance examination. But, it is not possible to do BTech Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering without Mathematics subject in 10+2. |

Re: Is it possible to do B.Tech without math?
Sorry to inform you that you can't do B.Tech without Mathematics.
A candidate seeking admission for B.Tech, should have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. So, of you haven't studied Mathematics at your 12th level then you are not eligible for B.Tech. |

Re: Is it possible to do B.Tech without math?
No, it is not possible to do B.Tech course without having Mathematics subject in 12th standard. To be eligible to pursue B.Tecg course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a recognised board and you have to appear in engineering entrance examinations like JEE, EAMCET, etc.,. So, being a 12th standard Biology student, you are not eligible to pursue B.Tech course.

Re: Is it possible to do B.Tech without math?
No, I am sorry to say that it is not possible to get admission in B.Tech course without having studied mathematics at your 10+2 level of examination.
The minimum eligibility criteria is such that the candidate should have studied and cleared 12th standard from a recognized board with PCM. So, mathematics is a must subject if you wish to get admission in B.Tech course. |

Re: Is it possible to do B.Tech without math?
I am sorry to say that you cannot apply for B.Tech course without studying Mathematics as a subject in your class 12th as you are not eligible for it.
Candidates those who have completed their class 12th with Science stream studying Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as a subject combination from a recognized Board scoring a minimum of 50% of marks in it are eligible to opt for B.Tech degree course in a respective stream. |

Re: Is it possible to do B.Tech without math?
B.Tech refers to Bachelor of Technology and same is a professional degree course of four years after completing which one gets a designation of an engineer.
Further the minimum educational qualification required for pursuing B.Tech degree course from an AICTE approved engineering college is a higher secondary school degree with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects with at least 45% marks from a recognized board. So it is evident that having not pursued Mathematics at your Class 12th level you are not eligible to pursue B.Tech degree course with Computer Science trade. |

Re: Is it possible to do B.Tech without math?
You are not eligible to get admission in B.tech. As per the criteria a candidate must be 12th passed with physics, chemistry and maths as the main subjects with minimum 60%.
For getting admission in B.tech you to apply for entrance exams through which you will get admission. But as per the criteria no any board or university will allow you to give admission in b.tech. B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology. As technology refers to scientific calculations. If a candidate have not studied maths in class 12th than it will be tough for him or her to solve questions related to his or her field . Mathematics is the base for Computer Science. |

Re: Is it possible to do B.Tech without math?
No you cannot apply for B.Tech without maths.Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics are compulsory subjects. You can do B.Tech in unconventional streams as Food processing etc but Civil, Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical,CS, chemical etc can never be granted admission. Even if you happen to get admission, your jib prospects will be ruined as companies checks certificates and subjects during joining or during interviews.
