Qualification required to study BSc(Astronomy) course for a candidate with 50% in 12th Science?


Respected Sir/Madam, I have secured 50% marks in my 12th Board exam. I am a Science student and have an interest to study BSc in Astronomy course. I would like to know about the qualification which is required to study this BSc course.

Different universities have different criteria for admission. Some conduct entrance exam and some give admission based on the class 12th board exam marks.

You need to apply for admission, based on the notification released by the concerned university. If you have got 12th science with PCM stream, then surely you will be eligible for such courses.

Qualification required to pursue BSc(Astronomy) is that you must have passed Intermediate from at least 50% aggregate.
Candidate must have passed 12th as because it is compulsory to get admission in other degree course.
Age limit is not declared neither maximum nor minimum.
