Hi, I am a student of 11th standard, studying with Science stream. I have PCB group and I want to do BUMS instead of MBBS. But my friends are telling me to do MBBS in future. I just want to know about the scope of BUMS course over MBBS course. Please tell me immediately.

I suggest you to pursue what you want to pursue in under-graduate level.

Job profiles after completing the BUMS programme are as follows:-
Hakeem
Consultant
Lecturer
Scientist
Therapist
Private Practice
Pharmacist
Medical Assistant
Public Health Specialist
Spa Director

And job profiles of MBBS are:-
Junior Doctors
Doctors
Physician
Junior Surgeons
Medical Professor or Lecturer

BUMS is an alternative system of medicine and not many people go for such treatments in India or even abroad. Hence, it has limited scope and you may struggle, if you opt for such course.

MBBS is the most popular course and widely accepted among people. Most of the people these days go for allopathic system of medicine. In fact, if you are looking for anything after MBBS, then you should go for BAMS, instead of BUMS.

Since you are interested in BUMS, then I don't think anything else should matter to you. I would advise you to go for BUMS course rather than MBBS as you are interested in the same.
Candidates those who have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized educational board, are eligible to apply for BUMS or MBBS course. In order to get admission for either of the aforementioned courses, you must have to appear and qualify in NEET entrance examination.
BUMS deal with the study of alternative system of medicine which has potential in treating varies diseases. So, after completion of this course, one can make his/her career as Unani Hakim, Pharmacist, may join government hospitals, dispensaries, unani hospitals, etc.
