What is the criteria for BITSAT exam?

BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test. It is an entrance examination which is conducted for admission to Degree programmes in BITS campuses. Candidates who have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recoginsed board are eligible to appear in BITSAT examination. Candidates who have obtained a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th standard examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects are eligible to appear in BITSAT examination.

Eligibility Criteria of BITSAT Exam 2016 :

>> You must complete 12th with Maths. Physics and Chemistry are the main subjects from the recognized University.

>> And should score a minimum 75% of marks in aggregate and 60% of marks in each subject namely Maths, Chemistry and Physics.

>> Final year candidates of 12th can also eligible to apply for BITSAT exam.

>> Should have a good command on English Language.

Important dates for BITSAT 2016 :

* Starting date to fill the application form : In December 2015

* Last date to fill the application form of BITSAT : Feb 2016

* Date of BITSAT Exam : In the month of May 2016.

Eligibility Criteria Required for BITSAT Examination:

>> The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for BITSAT Examination is "Minimum 12th Class or Intermediate in 10+2 Pattern" from a recognized university.

>> Candidates must have pursued 12th Class with the below mentioned subjects,
* Physics
* Chemistry
* Mathematics

>> Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 75% marks (Aggregate) in 12th Class to be eligible for BITSAT Examination.

>> Candidates must have secured minimum of 60% marks in Each subject (i.e., 60% marks in Physics, 60% marks in Chemistry and 60% marks in Mathematics) in order to be eligible for BITSAT Exam.

-> Students who are applying for BITSAT should pass their Intermediate exam or it equivalent qualification with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board.

• Candidate must have secure 75% marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in 12th class.
• Candidate must have secured 60% in each subjects.
• Candidates who have passed 12th exam in 2014 or appearing in 2015 can apply for BITSAT 2015.

BITSAT stands for the Birala Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test and the examination is conducted every year by the BITS for the admission in it's B.TECH courses.

The institute is one of the best private technical institute for the technical courses. Te eligibility to get the admission is :-
* Candidate must have passed the 10+2 from the recognised board.
* Candidate must have PCM and English as the main subject.

Eligibility Criteria:

Birla Institute of Technology and Science has regularized several eligibility criteria for those candidates, who are applying to appear in the admission test.

The eligibility criteria are given below.


> Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Board or its equivalent with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

> Candidate should have obtained minimum 80% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together in qualifying examination and at least 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

> The first rank students having Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 system / its equivalent from all central and state boards are directly selected irrespective of their BITSAT score.

> The students, who are appearing in 12th examination in the current year or who have passed in previous year only, are eligible to appear in BITSAT exam.

> The students, who have passed 12th examination year before previous year or earlier, are not eligible to apply.

> The students, who are presently studying at any of the BITS campuses, are not eligible to appear in BITSAT.
