as b tech lateral entry 2nd year?

No both are the different forms. One is for fresh students who has just passed 12th class and want to take admission in 1st year of B.Tech course. And the other one is for Lateral entry students who want to take admission in the 2nd year of B.Tech course.

So both are the different forms. Don't confuse yourself. If you want to take admission through lateral entry just ask the university/college for the lateral entry admission.

No, separate application forms will be available for candidates who join B. Tech and B. Tech (Lateral Entry). Duration of B.Tech (Lateral Entry) course is 03 years and of B. Tech is 04 years. And B. Tech Bachelor of Technology course can be pursued after completion of 12th class (10+2) from a recognized university. And B. Tech (Lateral Entry) course can be done after "Diploma" (03 year) course. Application forms will be available for B. Tech and B. Tech Lateral Entry separately as there are separate entrance examinations. So candidates will be shortlisted for Written test and the final selection will be made based on written examination score. B. Tech Lateral Entry qualification is equivalent to Second year B. E or B. Tech course.

No, B.Tech admission forms are not same as B.Tech Lateral Entry admission forms. In B.Tech admission form, you need to fill up your 10th and 12th standard examination marks results along with Engineering entrance rank details whereas in B.Tech Lateral Entry admission form, you need to fill up your 10th standard and Diploma course examination marks details along with LEET examination rank details. To get admission in B.Tech course, you need to appear in engineering entrance exams like JEE, Eamcet, etc. whereas to get admission in B.Tech Lateral Entry, you need to appear in LEET examination.
