Whether a candidate is eligible to appear in CAT after completing B.A.(Economics)?


Hello everyone,
Can a student who has done his
B.A. in Economics then can he appear
for CAT entrance exam after his B.A.?

Yes,you are eligible for the CAT(common admission test) examination.this exam is entrance for post graduation.
The minimum eligibility for this exam is graduation whether b.sc or b.a or b.e.
Their is no age limit for this exam.
The examination will be on quantitative aptitude,verbal and logical reasoning.
so,don't worry you can give the exam.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in CAT (Common Admission Test) after completion of B.A (Economics). The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in CAT Entrance Examination is "Bachelor Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in case of General/ OBC category and 45% marks in case of SC/ ST/ PWD Category". Candidates appearing their final year of Graduation are also eligible to appear in CAT Entrance Examination. CAT Examination is conducted by IIMs (Indian Institute of Management's) for admission into Post Graduate Programs in several streams. As B.A in Economics is a Graduate Degree, you are eligible to appear in CAT Entrance Examination. Here is the names of top management colleges/ institutes use CAT score for admission, S.P.Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mudra Institute of Communication, Institute of Management Technology (Ghaziabad), National Insurance Academy School of Management, Pune.

Yes, you are eligible for CAT exam because you have done B.A in Economics.

CAT stands for Common Admission Test. CAT examination is conducted by IIM's every year for admission in IIM and top level MBA colleges.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with above 50% marks are eligible for CAT exam. For SC/ST candidates the percentage is 45 % in graduation. There is no age limitation for the candidates. Final year student are also eligible for CAT exam.

Pattern for CAT exam:-

1.Data Interpretation.
2.Quantitative Aptitude.
3.Logical Reasoning.
4.Verbal Ability.
