Whether a candidate is eligible to apply in CAT if secured less in graduation but exceeded percentage in PG Diploma?
Hi,
Please let me know if a person has scored less in Graduation but exceeded in PG Diploma course, is he eligible of CAT i.e. admission for MBA? please let me know as soon as possible thank you and regards |

Yes, he is eligible for CAT admission even though scored less marks in graduation. However, it is to be kept in mind that career and academic track record plays an important role in the admission in IIMs. Most of the IIMs ask for a good career and academic record and there is a separate weightage for career and academic record. Since you do not have a consistent good academic record, so you need to perform exceptionally well in the CAT exam followed by GD and Interview rounds to get admission in IIMs.
