Sir, I am studying in 3rd year of Mechanical Engineering course and want to do two month summer internship from DRDO. How does this company select for internship? Procedure to apply for it?

DRDO is an agency of the Republic of India and stands for 'Defence Research and Development Organization'. You must have some solid reference to get internship from DRDO. You have to write an application to the head of HR department at DRDO regarding intersnhip. It will be better if you attach following documents along with your application:
1. College's recommendation letter.
2. Resume.
3. Project details (If any).
