sir i want to know that what type(trade) of civil engineers are most required in psu compaines...as there are structuarl enggs. Building enggs. Environment enggs. Road construction enggs...what type of civil engineers required after b.tech in civil engineering an how much GATE marks or % required for it to get into psu compaines...plz give detail information about it...and how to crack psu exams?

Civil engineering is considered one of the oldest and evergreen branches of engineering. Jobs in PSUs are considered one of the best jobs in modern India. Since you are talking about the recruitment of B.Tech candidates, so there is nothing as such like specialization department of civil engineers. B.Tech holders in civil engineering are recruited and trained and then according to their performance are given the specific departments.

GATE is one of the ways through which you can opt for jobs in PSUs. You need to score very good marks in GATE exam since there are huge number of applicants and to get maharatna status holding PSUs is very tough. 75% of the GATE score is considered during selection. If you can score 90 percentile then you are in the safe side. However, scoring above 80 percentile can fetch you employment if you give your interview well.
