My B.Tech Instrumentation Technology (66.76%) & M.Tech Digital Communication and Networking (DCN). Now in year 2015 according to VTU am I eligible or not to for assistant professor post in Electronics and Communication Engineering branch. Please give me clarity

Yes, you are eligible to apply for Assistant Professor post after successful completion of M.Tech. You are eligible for the post of Assistant Professor in Private institutions or colleges. But you can try for writing NET or State Level Eligibility Test or State Eligibility Test for this Assistant Professor post in Government based organizations. You can appear in NET/ SLET Exam which is conducted by University Grants Commission.

Eligibility criteria for Assistant Professor in government or government aided colleges:-

1.You must have a valid Ph.D degree

or

2.You must have a valid UGC NET/SET score card.

3.Your age should be above 23 years.
