Am I eligible to do Ph.D in Management if I have got only 54% in MBA?
I have completed my mba from smu in finance and banking. Now I want 2 do phd in management but in my mba I got 54.76 %
Am I eligible by phd or is there an6 university who give admission below 55%? |

If you are a General category candidate then you must have at least 55% marks in your MBA to become eligible for Ph.D admission. For reserved category candidates there is relaxation of 5% marks for Ph.D admission.
Therefore, if you don't belong to reserved category then you will face difficulties in getting admission in a Ph.D program because you don't meet the minimum requirement for a Ph.D program. |

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should 55% and above marks in masters degree. Yes, you are eligible to pursue Ph.D management course, even if you have secured only 54.76% in your Post Graduation. That's because as per eligibility criteria of the most of the institutions or universities, candidates who have secured minimum 50% in their Post Graduation are eligible to apply for Ph.D course. So, you are eligible to apply for Ph.D in Management.
