Am I eligible to do PhD if secured 75% in Post Graduation Diploma in Media Studies?


Hello,
I am Alka and I have completed my Post Graduation Diploma in Media Studies and got 75%. I want apply for PhD course. Please let me know is I am eligible or not?

You have secured 75% marks in Post Graduation Diploma so you are not eligible for Ph.D course because Post Graduation Diploma course is not valid for Ph.D course.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D entrance exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years for JRF post.
