Is it beneficial to study PhD in Mathematics through correspondence?

Guys I want to do research in Mathematics. For that I know that I have to do PhD. But I am working as a Professor in a private college. I have done my M.Phil in Mathematics. I am thinking to do PhD in correspondence. But I am not sure that it will give me benefit or not. I want to know about this.

In every case Ph.D is beneficial. You can pursue it from both mode of education either from distance mode or from regular mode.
As per you have mentioned that you are working in a private college then you will be allowed to pursue Ph.D from correspondence mode and it is also valid all across India as well as in abroad.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
