Is it beneficial to study PhD in English through correspondence?

Guys I want to do research in English. For that I know that I have to do PhD. But I am working as a Professor in a private college. I have done my M.Phil in English. I am thinking to do PhD in correspondence. But I am not sure that it will give me benefit or not. I want to know about this.

Yes, definitely you can opt for PhD in English through correspondence course after the completion of M.Phil course in English. As you are working as a professor in the College, it will be beneficial for you to opt for PhD course through correspondence while working as a professor.
There is no issue if you have done PhD course through correspondence while you are working. But if you are not working anywhere, that instant I will suggest you to pursue PhD course through regular mode.
Candidates those who have completed their M.Phil course from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% of marks in it are eligible to opt for the Ph.D course.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
