Is it beneficial to study PhD(History) for M.A. student? Details of PhD(History)?
I would like to know about the details of PhD(History) course. I am doing M.A. in History as it is my favourite subject and I have got 81.43% in my B.A. with same stream. So, after my M.A. I want to do PhD in History. Is it beneficial to do PhD in History?

Yes, definitely it is beneficial for a candidate to study the Ph.D course in History being an M.A candidate.
It will be beneficial for your further career in teaching line. Candidates those who have completed their Masters degree from a recognised University with a minimum of 55% of marks in it are eligible to opt for the Ph.D course in the same. You must have to qualify in the UGC-NET examination in order to take admission to pursue the Ph.D course. |
