I did MBA in marketing from IGNOU. Am I eligible for PhD admissions in reputed institute like IIM or IIT? if yes, then what is the procedure to do so?

If you have completed your MBA with minimum of 55% marks then surely you can apply for PhD course in a reputed institution. You can get the admission through entrance exam conducted by the university or institution itself. Or you can also get the admission without any entrance exam if you qualified in UGC NET/SET exam. Thanks.

In order to get admission in PhD course in IIT or IIM after having completed your MBA course from IGNOU university. You will have to appear for NET/SET examination in order to get admission in the above mentioned course or you can also appear for the entrance examination conducted by the institute itself and after clearing it, you can get admission in the course.

After completion of MBA from IGNOU, you can apply for Ph.D course in IIT and IIM because IGNOU is recognized University.

But your maters degree marks is above 55%.

Your should qualify in UGC NET exam.
