Can I study correspondence PhD from any recognized university if secured 52.5% in M.A.(English)?


Hello,
I did my M.A. in English from Panjab University, Chandigarh and secured 52.5% marks. Can I do PhD from correspondence system from any recognized university?

You have completed M.A in English with 52.5 % marks from Punjab University so you are not eligible for Ph.D course.

The educational qualification required for Ph.D course is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for Ph.D exam.

Your age should be below 28 years.

If i'v secured 57% in m.a(English) in first year and presently i'm in my final year can i apply for Ph.D course in Delhi University?
