Eligibility for doing PhD in Urdu for a Government Teacher who have done MA in Urdu?


I'm government Teacher who have done MA in Urdu. Can I do PhD Urdu, please give tips about the eligibility whether is there any test is necessary?

You have done M.A in Urdu, so you are eligible for Ph.D course in Urdu.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D entrance exam. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There are no age criteria.

You can apply for admission when admission notification is released by the concerned university. You must have 55% marks in M.A Urdu to become eligible for admission.

Admission will be based on the performance in written exam and interview conducted by the concerned university. If you have more than 5 years of experience in given field then you will be exempted from entrance exam.
