Hello sir, I have passed M.Ed with 60% and persuing M.A sociology. I want to know, can i'm eligible for UGC NET.

You have passed M.Ed with 60% marks, so you are eligible for UGC NET exam.

Those candidate who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for UGC NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55%and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its hold 50% above in masters degree.

If you complete you M.A Sociology with 55% marks then surely you can appear for UGC NET for sociology subject. In case of reserved category candidate there is relaxation of 5% marks available.

Hence, secure the above mentioned marks and be ready for UGC NET with good preparation.
