Ph.D after completing graduation with 55%?


Hi,

This is Alka I have completed my graduation with 55% so can I apply for Ph.D?
Please advise me for my future. Thanking you. Would you please help me in this regard?

No, graduation degree holder candidates are not eligible for Ph.D course.

Eligibility criteria for Ph.D course:-

1)Those candidates who have completed masters from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

2)There is no age criteria for Ph.D course.

For doing PhD the eligibility is a master’s degree with 55% marks. So you have to complete your master's degree first. After that you can do PhD in the same subject in many universities. There will be an entrance examination for the admission. The PhD course is available in universities like,

Sorry you are not eligible for PhD after completing Graduation. You must have a Master degree in concerned specialization from a recognized university. The minimum required percentage for admission to course is 55. You might be required to appear for an entrance test conducted by the university. Those who already qualify in the UGC NET exam can directly appear in the Interview process.
