Is Ph.D. in Sociology stream beneficial for getting government jobs?


Dear sir,

I am MA in Sociology and Master in library & information science with 60% marks. I want to complete my ph.d in Sociology. I want to know if this course is beneficial for getting government job?

Yes, of course Ph.D in sociology is a good career option to opt for, you can avail government jobs after the successful completion of your course. Below, I have mentioned some of fields in government sector where you can opt to work in future;
