Possibility to appear in NET exam for MA Psychology from Annamalai University and M.Sc Food and Nutrition from IGNOU?


Hello sir, I am 36 years old and have completed MA Psychology from Annamalai University. I am pursuing M.Sc Food and Nutrition from IGNOU and only thesis part is left. I am consultant Dietitian. Am I eligible to appear in NET exam?

Yes, you can appear for UGC NET exam. If you fulfill below given criteria then you are eligible for UGC NET entrance exam.

The educational qualification required for UGC NET exam is masters degree with above 55% marks are eligible UGC NET exam. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for UGC NET exam.

There are no age criteria for UGC NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.
