Yes, it is possible to do PhD in Commerce or Economics through distance mode.

- The eligibility for a PhD in Commerce or Economics will be a Master Degree in discipline subject from a recognized university. However, a Master Degree Degree in Commerce or Economics will be given preference.

- You will need to score more than 55% of marks at Master Degree level.

- Those candidate who already qualify in the UGC NET entrance exam can direct get admission. Some prestigious universities may also conduct their own entrance exam.
