What should I do to get qualified for doing Ph.D? How much marks i have? Is 2nd class is sufficient for that? Can someone please guide me with the right information on the same as soon as possible? Awaiting for your replies. Thank you!

Ph.D is also known as Doctor of philosophy course is eligible for candidate's who have completed master's degree course with a minimum of 55% aggregate from a recognized university/ college.

As you have not mentioned the university name in which you want to apply for. Different universities have different entrance examination. So, the qualifying marks is also different.

For Himachal pradesh university the qualifying marks in entrance test is 45%.

For university of Delhi the qualifying marks in entrance test is 60%.

The candidate's are exempted from entrance examination if they have valid GATE/ GPAT/ SET/ NET/ CSIR score.
