Hi Sir, I completed MCA in 2016 with 74% aggregate. But I completed my B.Sc in 4years (due to one year of backlog). I totally lost my hopes. Please guide me anyone. Am I eligible for IT jobs?

The basic educational qualification required for appearing in IT based recruitment's is "Bachelor Degree" or Graduation in Engineering or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or Master of Engineering or Master of Technology from a recognized university.

Yes, there are the companies that allow maximum of 1 year gap in academics. So based on this criteria, you are eligible to attend IT based recruitment's of concerned companies only. But yes, you are eligible to get job in IT companies with the criteria that is mentioned above.

As you have finally cleared then pending backlogs, you will be eligible to appear in IT based recruitment's. You must have secured good percentage in 10th class and 12th Classes as well in order to be eligible.

As you have completed MCA with 74% marks, so you are eligible to get jobs in IT sectors. Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for IT companies are,

IT company= 60%

Candidates having more than two years gap throughout the studies are not eligible for IT companies recruitment process.
