Can a B.Tech holder write NET exam in Arts subjects or Management subjects?


I am a B-Tech(mechanical) holder. I like to become a lecturer in arts or management subjects like commerce,economics,politics or management(any one).Is it possible...?
If possible how..?

Yes, the B.Tech students can apply for UGC NET/ JRF exam. Here, I am providing you the details regarding UGC NET entrance exam.

National Eligibility Test (NET) and this entrance exam is conducted by the University Grants Commission for every year.

Educational Qualification:
Students should have passed BE/ B Tech/ B Pharma/ MBBS/ Integrated MSc or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks for general and OBC ( 50% for SC/ST candidates, physically and Visually Handicapped candidates).

Age Limit
The applicants age is Maximum 28 years for JRF and relaxation will be applicable Upto 5 years for SC/ST category students and 3 years for OBC category students. No age limit required for Lectureship post.
