No, B.Sc candidates are not eligible for GATE exam.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department from a recognized University then you are eligible for GATE exam.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This exam is conducted every year for those seeking admission in post graduation course. You are doing B.Sc and want to know about the eligibility for GATE exam.

>>The main eligibility of GATE exam for B.Sc students is that student must possess Bachelor’s degree in Science (Post-Diploma/ 4 years after 10+2). Students in the final year of the graduation course are also eligible. You have not mentioned whether you are doing four year graduation course or three year. So if you are doing graduation degree of four years then only you are eligible for GATE exam.

>>Age Criteria: There is no maximum age limit in giving this exam. Also, there is not any number of attempts limit in giving the test. You can take this exam at any age and any number of times.
