Is it mandatory to appear in GATE for study M.E.(Civil Engineering)?
hello
after completing b.e. in civil engineering.... is it compulsary to appear for GATE or to crack GATE for doing ME civil (any specilisation )?? or just appearing for gate is essential??? please tell me about this |

Yes, it is mandatory that you need to appear in GATE examination to get admission in M.E course. Even without appearing in GATE examination, some colleges offers admission in M.Tech course by conducting their own entrance test. Appearing and qualifying GATE examination is sufficient to get admission in M.Tech course but, to get admission in top institutes like IIT, NIT, etc. you must have to crack GATE examination.
