Is it mandatory to have post graduation done before applying for Government bank jobs? I have competed B.Com graduation now. Can I apply for government bank or am not eligible for it? Can someone please guide me with the right information on the same? Thanks!

No dear, it is not mandatory to have PG to apply for Public Sector bank jobs. Actually you should complete at least graduation from the recognized university. If you have a PG degree then also you will be equivalent with PG candidates before the Bank exams.

There is No separate category will not be there for the PG candidates compared with the graduation students. In fact there is No percentage requirement for it.

I think you are more interested to settle in the Banking sector and at this time are absolutely eligible to apply for various Bank exams like SBI, IBPS etc.,

** Clerk ,PO/MT's and SO's

2.SBI Associate Recruitment

** Clerk,PO/MT's and SO

3. IBPS recruitment

Thus you will have number of opportunities to apply in the banking sector.

No,it is not mandatory to have an post graduation degree from the candidate. The qualification depends on the type of post you are applying. Institute of banking personnel selection (IBPS) conducts examination for the recruitment of candidates to various posts.

* For IBPS RRB exam the minimum educational qualification is a pass in degree.

* For IBPS clerk CWE posts the minimum educational qualification is candidate must hold any graduation degree.

* For IBPS PO posts the minimum educational qualification is candidate must hold a graduation degree in any discipline.

* For specialist officer posts candidates with the specialized degrees like BE/ B.Tech/ MBA/ CA/ LLB are eligible.

As far as IBPS notification is concerned you need Graduation degree to become eligible government bank jobs if you are applying for PO and Clerk job. Just make sure that you have got at least 50% marks in your degree. You have to clear written exam and interview to become eligible for job. Hence, don't worry if you don't have post graduation degree because it doesn't matter in this case.

You are eligible to apply for the Bank Government jobs. The eligibility for the Bank Government jobs is that the aspiring candidate should have a graduation degree.
So there is no problem for you to apply for the Bank Government jobs.
You will have to apply for the various Examinations and you will have to clear them in order to get the job.
The Bank Government jobs Exam can be given by anyone from any background but the candidate needs to be a Graduate that is the only criteria in terms of Academics for the candidates to apply for the Job.
So as you have completed your B.Com graduation you are eligible to sit for the Examinations.

You have completed B.Com degree so you are eligible for Bank exam. Post graduation degree doesn't require for Bank exam.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI clerk exam.

Your age should be 20 to 28 years.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI PO exam.

Your age should be 20 to 30 years.

I am in my final year of engineering so by month of may or June I will be graduate. As there are many government job recruitment taking place, so I am eligible for apply for any government job or not ? If no then when should I apply for it.
