There is very much use of pursuing integrated B.Tech/ M.Tech course. You can save 1 year of your study duration by pursuing this course.

Generally, many candidates first opt for B.Tech program in any discipline like Computer science, Electronics, Electrical etc which is of 4 years duration. Then after for higher education qualification they opt for M.Tech course in the subjects they opted for B.Tech course which is of 2 years duration.

The integrated course is a combination of both B.Tech and M.Tech course which is of 5 years duration. The candidates who opted this course will have wide range of job opportunities in both public and private sectors.

Recent days many firms are looking for higher experience and good education qualifications candidates. By opting integrated course you can achieve dual degree. Separately taking the degrees means one more extra year in duration and more fees.

If you have good skills and if you are good at what you have learned from this course, you will have good package as well. But this option is recommended only if the institution which offers this program is reputed. In terms of market value, it is almost same as getting separate degrees.

It is better to take it separately.

Most of the standard universities does not provide such integrated courses.

Theses are provided by deemed universities.

Most of the seats are vacant if we analyse the integrated BTech-Mtech admission process.

If separate you could save one year as well as change the specialization as per need.

Also the saturation of MTech is also a growing concern.

So it is better to do BTech first and then MTech. after clearing the GATE.

Integrated B.Tech+M.Tech means that you pursue both courses under one time admission . There is one and only advantage of pursuing integrated B.Tech and M.Tech course is that overall you will save one year in your studies.

B.Tech is of four years and M.Tech is of two years, so overall you have to spend six years if you want to do both courses separately. But when in integrated B.Tech+M.Tech, it is only of 5 five years. The course is valid for different jobs. You can go for it.

The purpose of doing an integrated course is saving time and it will surely save your one year if your aim in higher education. It will have same value as the normal qualification.

If you do it separately then B.Tech will be 4 years plus M.Tech 2 years which makes it 6 years. If you opt for integrated course then it will be of 5 years duration. Hence, if your aim in higher education then surely you can go for integrated course.

The advantage of integrated B.Tech/M.Tech is it is of a five year course. If you study B.Tech and then M.Tech means it will take six years. So one year will be saved in the integrated course and the expenses will be reduced. For the integrated program you have to select the institute which should be reputed. You can get very good job after this integrated course with good salary package. So the integrated B.Tech /M.Tech course is very much beneficial.

The value is same as that of M.Tech.
It is the same and the only benefit is that you get to save a year during the whole process.
Although the Final year in such a course is a bit hectic for students but if you can manage it you will be able to save a year and get the M.Tech Degree which will have the same value as any other M.Tech Degree.
So the choice is up to you now to see what you want to do.

>>The integrated b.tech and m.tech course duration is 5 years.
>>If you do it separately like first b.tech and then m.tech , it will be take 6 years to complete. The scope of getting job or doing higher studies is same and as doing separately.
>>The main advantage is you can complete graduation and post graduation in 5 years.

The integrated course of m.tech and b.tech is mainly offered by the universities like iit's, bit's, nit's and other universities only.
