Whether I am not eligible to appear in GATE during my 6th semester to study M.E./M.Tech?


Sir,
I have heard that according to the new rules of GATE I cannot give GATE in 6th semester. This GATE score cannot help me to take admission in M.E./M.Tech after completing B.E. Is this true?

Yes, it is true. You can't use this GATE score because final year student are eligible for GATE exam.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then are eligible for GATE exam.
