Will I get admission in IIT/NIT if secured 2600 AIR in GATE being an OBC candidate?


hello everyone
i got gate marks 48.73 and gate score 570 ..
air rank 2600 .. obc .. civil branch ..
will i get admission in iit or nit??

You have some chance of getting admission in IITs and NITs with this score if we go by the cut off marks of previous year for OBC category. Also, it will depend on your choice of stream.

If you are going for a popular stream then you will face tough competition during admission. Civil Engineering is a popular stream and normally cut off goes a bit high but you have still chance of getting admission in a low end IIT without any doubt.
