Dear Sir, I am going to complete B.Tech in 2017. I have one backlog which can be removed through credits. Please let me know that Am I eligible to appear in TCS with 74% marks in B.Tech?

Yes, you are eligible to appear for TCS placement drive.

The eligibility criteria is as follows:

* Candidate must have secured an aggregate of 60% throughout the academics.

* Candidate should not have any pending backlogs or arrears at the time of recruitment.

You are studying in the final year of B.Tech course and complete your B.Tech degree in next year. You are interested to know about the eligibility criteria for TCS recruitment drive.

Also students do not have any backlog at the time of placement drive. You have backlog in one subject. So in my opinion you have to clear it before the placement drive otherwise you are not eligible to attend the placement drive.

You can definitely appear for TCS having 74%. They check the criteria as 60% in 10th , 60% in 12th and 60% in Graduation.

If you have aggregate 60% then definitely you will able to appear the interview process

Yes you are eligible for tcs since you have 74% marks in your b.tech.

But you did not mention your marks in your 10th and 12th standard. If that is below 60% then they are not going to allow you to be appeared.

And make sure that you don't have any backlog and more than 2 years of study gap in your career.
