I have done BE in Computer Science but i have one year gap in the course. So tell me if i am eligible to write iGATE with this one year gap?

Yes, you are eligible for iGate recruitment.

Eligibility criteria of iGate recruitment:-

1)Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for iGate is 60%
2)You should not have any pending backlogs.
3)Candidates having more than two years gap throughout the studies are not eligible for iGate recruitment.

In general iGATE allows students the maximum of 1 year gap in their total academic career.
So if you are having a 1 year gap it is not a problem.
You need to make sure that you have fulfilled all the rest of the criteria that is set by iGATE and once you are able to do that you will be able to appear for the iGATE Examination.

For iGATE software engineer post the eligibility will be B.E/B.Tech and should have 60% and above in academics in 10th, 12th and graduation.

The candidates should have no gap in education.

Candidates can have not more than 1 active backlog.

For non engineering jobs they allow 3 years gap, but for engineering graduates gap period not allowed.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to sit for iGATE Recruitment process with 1 year gap in Education. The minimum basic educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in iGATE selection process is B.E/ B.Tech in any one of the below streams.
* Information Science
* Computer Science
* Electronics and Telecommunication
* Electronics and Communication

>> Candidates should not have Year GAPS in his/ her Education. I am once again sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear in iGATE Recruitment Process.
