Am I eligible for Junior Chemistry Lecturer post in Haryana Education Department if selected but having Colour Blindness?


Sir,
I have been selected for junior chemistry
lecturer job in haryana education dept.
But during my medical check up,I was found colour blind.
Doctors have mentioned this point on my fitness certificate.
Am I eligible for this job. What should I do.
plz guide me sir?

In government jobs, if you have any kind of handicapped nature, then it will not be a problem, if the job doesn't require you to do some strenuous activity. In fact, there is reservation for physically handicapped candidates. For a junior lecturer post, color blindness will not be a big issue. Hence, no need to worry.

Color blindness can be an issue, only in defense and police jobs or jobs which require perfect normal eyesight like merchant navy.
