Job opportunities through B.Sc(Nautical Science) course? Starting salary after completion of this course?


Hi,
I am going to take admission in B.Sc(Nautical Science). I don't know much more about this course so I am worried about my career. Can you let me know what are the job opportunities available for me after completing this course? And kindly tell me about the starting salary. Thank you!

Job Opportunities for B.Sc in Nautical Science Candidates:

Nautical Science has the good scope in India and abroad as well. You may find employment opportunities in both Private sector as well as Government sector.

You may find employment opportunities in Shipping companies and you may apply for several posts namely Scuba Diver, Captain, Marine Engineer, Deck Officer, Radio Officer, Oceanographer, Pilots in Port Trust, Nautical Surveyors, Ship Managers and Marine Superintendent's. You may apply for GPS Specialists, Map Tester, Geo-Technical Manager, Portfolio Manager in navigation areas. The Starting salary for B.Sc (Nautical Science) candidates would be of Rs. 18,700 to Rs.26,000/- and it may get increases based on the experience you attain.
