I am an engineering student currently studying in 2nd year in academy of technology in west bengal. i secured 79%marks in secondary and 60%marks in higher secondary exam.but the problem is i dropped for two years in academic career.would i be able to seat fot the in-campus interview or off campus interview in tcs?please help me out.

No, 2nd year student are not eligible for TCS recruitment. But 3rd years candidates can apply for on-campus recruitment.

Eligibility criteria of TCS recruitment:-

1)Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for TCS is 60%
2)You should not have any pending backlogs.
3)Candidates having more than two year gap throughout the studies are not eligible for TCS recruitment.

I am very sorry to say that you are not eligible for TCS when you are in your 2nd year of your engineering degree. In this case, you will have to wait for few more months and as soon as you are in your 3rd year, you can apply for TCS during on campus recruitment.

TCS stands for Tata Consultancy Service and they do not recruit 2nd year student of engineering. You need to have a graduate degree to get into TCS or atleast in the final year.

You can apply for TCS in your final year. TCS recruits both on and off campus.

No, there is no chance to get a job in TCS while doing 2nd year of enggineering. You will have to complete your engineering degree then you can apply for TCS job .
