What is the way to attract the customers in sales, especially doctors?


HI friends,

I'm balamuralikrishnan working from one private company as a sales engineer.Now i have one question,does anyone give me the answer for it?
What is the way of approach to the customers in the sales of medical products? especially with the doctors.?

Sales job is one of the toughest and competitive job one can take up in the career path and it really needs lot of patience and practice to excel in this field.

Now there are three key things which we need to follow up to make sure you exceed your sales target,

-> Being Honest to the customer, many people use to say to excel in sales field you need to lie a lot so that you can sell quick that's totally wrong. You might sell one product quick by telling lot of lies that the product will do this and do that but customer feedback is what makes things different. Once the customer comes to know that whatever you sold was not as expected then the negative feedbacks will move around every product which you are selling and that to in medical field all doctors will come to know once if the product is not up to the mark. So first thing to keep in mind is being honest and just explain about the product what it can do but not what it cannot.

-> Give more information to the customer and especially to doctors you need to be more specific. Make sure that the same knowledge which you have about the product goes to your customer as well when you explain it to them. So, you need to do some home work on this so that the moment you explain to the customer he/she should know A-Z of it which makes them confident enough to buy it.

-> Be ready to learn from the past. Not everyday will be great day for sales which is the part and parcel of the job, so you need to be ready to learn the mistakes which you did in the past which cost losing the customer and then build up on that to make sure you do the best next time.

There are still more to be followed but if you can follow the above 3 points then for sure you can succeed in your Sales career.
