Thumbs up Re: Will Backlogs affect the placements?

As you are in third year of B.tech(cse) the backlogs may effect you if you didn't complete them after completing your degree course,it even depends upon what backlogs you have, like the backlogs must not be of the core subjects such as C language,Advanced data structures(ADS),JAVA,UNIX..etc.
But if you have completed your backlogs within the stipulated time i.e within the fourth year of your degree course then it may not effect you.

You need to ensure that you complete all your backlogs at the earliest. If you have a backlog in the area of job you plan to take up it will surely impact. You should not have a backlog when you join any firm otherwise your appointment can be cancelled.

Dear friend,
There is not any difficulty to get job with back log.
Companies need only good G.P.A, your way of taking means HR and your knowledge.
Some companies have criteria for backlog but mostly companies not.

All the best

hello friend

its not that correct

which you're worrying about

some IT gaints like Microsoft and IBM are also allowing the applicants those who have 2 backlogs in their whole course and b.tech degree with 70% atlast

so if you have more than the limit of the company then you're in trouble

less than that is always welcomed by all IT companies or whatever the campus placements may be

so apart your percentage you should have many other skills like

communications skills

logical reasoning

inter personnel skills

and many more like this

all the best

hi!

It is true that many companies coming for campus recruitment require at least 60% throughout the applicant’s educational life without any backlogs.

But then there are companies which recruit candidate with backlogs on the condition that they will clear all their backlogs before the completion of the course or before joining.

You should go through the minimum educational requirement of companies coming for campus placement & ensure that you fulfil all the criteria.

My dear friend,

backlogs will not be a problem at all but they become problem for you if you are unable to finish or clear those backlogs by the completion of your course

Because most of the companies will put minimum eligibility as 60%. So because of your backlogs if you are not able to get that 60%, you are going to miss that opportunity.

So I wish you to complete your backlogs by the end of your course and make sure that you will get 60%.

All the best

To some extent it effects as few company have set their standards high. They don't take students having backlogs. But most of the companies see that whether you have completed your B.tech. or not in 4 years. You must try to clear all your backlogs before 4 years.

Cool Re: Will Backlogs affect the placements?

hi dear
According to my view backlock does't matter if you clear your backlock within stipulated time (within 4 year).

Because each and every pretigious company want a candidate should have some quality like
good communicartiun,
good command over english ,
nice tecnical skill ,
softskill,
talented ,
brillient
innovative mind ,
inquiciavite mind
having full knowledge of all company ,
knowledge about current affairs

So you must have all these quality in your self then only you will get easily job in MNC,
private sector,
any big companies.

Good luck and have a nice future.

Dear Friend

Yes Definately ! Backlogs Creates a Negative Impression on the Companies.

So, if you have got a Backlog in your Course, then please clear it soon.

Because company does not Recruited Backlogs Candidates. Top Most companies Recruited Good quality students, who score good marks in their Courses.

In manny colleges, The Backlog students are not eligible for Appear in the Campus Recruitment.

So, definately Bcaklogs affects in Placements, But its totally depends on the Company Policies. Manny Compaies allows Backlog Students, So, if you have a skills and willpower, then definately, you will get sucess.

But always try to work hard, So that you will not get any Backlog in your Continuing Course.

Hello peetali,

Yes, backlogs do affect in your campus placement. Many MNC's doesn't allow students having backlogs to sit for the interview. Since you are in the third year, try to clear all the backlogs in this semester. Because it will be very comfortable to you.
Still then dont worry, if you have talent , then company will recruit you.
keep working hard.

All the best

If you have more number of backlogs it will be somewhat effected for your placements.Bur still campus placements completely depends on your aggregate percentage and your performance in the so called interview. The compnaies have their own limit students having backlogs,so it also depends on the company you hire.

Hello,
Well backlogs do have some effects on the negative side as many companies make it clear that they will not allow candidates with a particular number of backlogs.
But it is not that you will not be able to get good jobs. Many students even with their backlogs are working in their core companies with reasonable packages.

But you must clear your papers before your degree and it would be much better to enter the final year with no backlogs.

So do not worry much try to clear your papers as soon as possible.

Good luck.

if you got backlog... then don't worry of that because private companies consider these kind of things....so you are not empty hand this time . do prepare well and go for PSUs where certain limit of overall degree is required.

and if you want to join the private sector only then it wil not more delay.

you are absolutely safe dear.

There is a high probability that they will, especially with campus selection, in which you are in direct competition with your contemporaries in the same environment as you have experienced. Plus, backlogs may also mean to the selectors that you are incompetent or less competent, or incapable, or not daring. These things, if they really appeal to the selectors while comparing your records to other candidates, can lead to your rejection

You have to clear your all the backlogs within the shortest period. Then it may not affect your interviews. If you are having backlogs, but at the time of interview, if you answer well, it doesn't matter at all!!! After all your confidence decides everything!!

Wish you all the bests!!!

For TCS eligibility criteria is 60% above in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .maximum two years gap are allowed.

For WIPRO eligibility criteria is 50% in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .maximum two years gap are allowed.

For INFOSYS eligibility criteria is 65% above in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .maximum two years gap are allowed.

There is no fixed eligibility criteria for placement in the companies like TCS , Infosys. It depends on the situation whether they allows backlogs or not. So it fully depend on your luck.

But if you want to take placement in core company then it fully affects because they do not allow backlogs.

Hello,

Yes, backlogs will affect the placements. So, if you have any backlogs first of all clear it. Backlogs will create a bad attitude on you. Try to clear it if you have or otherwise maintain the same track till the end. Backlogs will not be accepted by some IT companies. Backlogs can cleared till final year some companies will select the backlogs student. So, try to survive from it. some companies allows two backlogs but other might not accept it. So, try to be in safer side. Placement is very important thing. No need to worry about it. If you have any backlog clear it soon.

Best wishes

Default Adina Star’s new Book: Aventura File

Adina Star is not one to sit around and expect money to drop from the sky.
She is not only a famous public person, but she is an accomplished fiction author,
children’s author, healthy life style promoter. Did I miss anything?
Adina’s newest book, Aventura File, won’t be out until June, but she let us have a
sneak peek on what to expect out of her book!

Romance, passion, intrigue, unpredictable actions combine into the perfect storm.
Aventura File explores the tender bond between men and women, ponders the
delicate nature of healing, and celebrates the redemptive power of creativity and love.

The story skips to Ben at 31 year, to when he’s established himself as a freelance,
traveling designer whose performances, loyalties and charisma and charm earned him a
reputation around the world. He created his life independently and all success and fame he
achieved solo. Love, steamy romances and numerous possibilities of marriage--follow Ben all
over. Hard luck certainly follows this fortunate man that mistakenly consigns his business with
a partner; greedy, malicious, jealous, and for selfish purposes ready to do anything…

As you are in third year of B.tech(cse) the backlogs may effect you if you didn't complete them after completing your degree course,it even depends upon what backlogs you have, like the backlogs must not be of the core subjects such as C language,Advanced data structures(ADS),JAVA,UNIX..etc.
But if you have completed your backlogs within the stipulated time i.e within the fourth year of your degree course then it may not
