I have a gap between 10th and 12th . I completed my 10th in 2007 and 12 in 2011 and at present i am pursuing B.E from civil branch and there is no backlog till now . So , i want to know that i will be eligible for all private companies , psu and govt. Job.....???

2 years gap between 10th and 12th wouldn't be much of a issue for getting a job. Sometimes private companies do ask for the reason but it won't be a problem getting Government job for sure.

Usually gap between studies will be noticed only in the interview phase and at that time the interviewer will ask the question like "Why you have 2 years break between your school studies?" and by then you should be sure of giving the proper reason as the answer.

So, make sure that you won't give the reasons like "I was lazy to study", "I was not interested" and all those because that will create a black mark on you which ultimately cost you the job itself. Just do some home work in this particular question and make sure that the answer which you give will satisfy the interviewer 100%..
