Hello Sir, I have passed class 12th (Arts) 10 years ago but due to some problems I had to leave studies but now I have again passed in class 12th (PCM) from private Institute. I want to know can I apply for NEET now?

No, you are not eligible to apply for NEET examination after qualifying class 12th (PCM) from private. To be eligible to apply for NEET examination, you should have completed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks of Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects taken together and you should have passed English subject in your 12th standard from a recognised board. Since, you have not pursued Biology subject in your 12th standard, you are not eligible to apply for NEET examination.

Yes, you are eligible for NEET exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject are eligible for NEET exam 2017. At 10+2 level you need to secure minimum 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and biology taken together.

Your minimum age should be 17 years.

Exam Pattern:-

Total Number of Questions: 180 questions
Total Time Limit: 3 hours
Negative Marking: 1/4th marks

Questions will come from:-

Physics-45 questions
Biology-45 questions
Chemistry-45 questions
Zoology-45 questions

I pass 12th class in 2017 in maths and reappears 12th from biology as a private student am I eligible for neet exam
