Can I get admission in any Government college if secured 48230 rank in JEE Main and 64.5% in 12th BSEB being an OBC candidate?


Dear Friends,
My rank is 48230 in JEE Main. I am an OBC candidate and I have got 64.5% in my Board exam of 12th BSEB. I want to know that I can admission in any Government college?

There is very little chance of getting admission in a government college with this rank if you are an OBC category candidate. Probably you will get admission in a private college only.

If you were a SC/ST category then there would have been some chance but with OBC it seems a bit of an uphill task.

Your score isn't quite good for getting admission in any government college, as keeping in mind the recent competition level, there are fewer chances for you to get admission in the any government college(provided you fall under SC/ST groups).

However, I would suggest you to try to get admission in any good private college, if not getting admission in any government college, so as to not waste much of your time.
