Can I get admission to study B.Tech(Mechanical Engineering) in any good private college of Kolkata if scored 104 marks in JEE Main and expecting 60% in WBCHSE being a General student? Expected All India Rank?


Sir,
I have scored 104 marks out of 360 marks in JEE Main. Can I get good Private colleges with Mechanical engineering in B.Tech in General Category in Kolkata? Our WBCHSE result has not yet published. I'm expecting 60% in that. So, another question of my: What should be the AIR rank of me? Please answer anyone. I'm really tensed!

Admission in a top private college will be possible with these marks when you belong to reserved category. Hence, if you are a general category candidate then admission will be very tough with these marks.

You can attend counselling but chances are only good for low ranked private engineering colleges only.
