Re: Is CBSE syllabus is difficult than any state board?
No..its all depend on interest towards study and hard work.
Its true that state board syllabus is confined to state within itself. Where as CBSE is central syllabus which covers all the state common topicd. Where and whatever you apply for all india entrance exam, central syllabus and its model paper helps you out . If you try a more effort and will power than definitely you can clear central syllabus. |

Re: Is CBSE syllabus is difficult than any state board?
CBSE stands for central board of secondary education is the most popular education board in India. It is conducted by NCERT.
As CBSE is emphasizes more on science and mathematics rather than languages. CBSE syllabus is same all over India for CBSE affiliated schools. It is useful for students in preparing for national level entrance examinations. When comes to State education board, the syllabus is different for various states. It emphasizes more on theoretical rather than practical knowledge. It is useful for the preparation of state level entrance examinations. The syllabus is not that much difficult. To gain practical and good knowledge opt for CBSE rather than state board. CBSE candidate's can have more subject knowledge when compared to state education board candidate. |

Re: Is CBSE syllabus is difficult than any state board?
No, there is nothing such as the syllabus is very tough or easy, once you start showing interest towards it, you will never feel the same.
CBSE pattern is much more flexible and is more compatible for those who wish to crack competitive examination as most of the competitive examination follows CBSE pattern. Moreover, in most of the competitive examinations, CBSE study and test pattern is followed, therefore it can help your child in many ways, he/she can get much exposure to the entrance examination at earlier stage. Maximum people tend to move towards CBSE board after 10tth because of he following two reasons; > The syllabus of entrance exams are at par with the syllabus laid down by CBSE. > English is easier and no compulsion of second language, hence more attention can be given to the core subjects. Therefore, I would suggest you to not get scared of CBSE board as there is nothing such. You can very well study in CBSE board without any hesitation. |

Re: Is CBSE syllabus is difficult than any state board?
CBSE syllabus is much advanced from any state board syllabus. And is of course more difficult compared to state board syllabus.
The merit however is that your son will be more advanced than a student in terms of knowledge gained when compared to a student of state board of the same class. When joining any higher education he will understand the subjects better because he has advanced tools in-built in him due to the complex CBSE education. He will have to put in a lot more effort as compared to a student of state board. But as the phrase goes, 'Today's pain is tomorrows gain.' |

Re: Is CBSE syllabus is difficult than any state board?
No, CBSE Board syllabus is not difficult but, it covers all the topics which occurs around the country whereas State Board syllabus does not cover all topics, it covers only State topics. So, some students fee that CBSE Board syllabus is difficult than State Board syllabus. It is not right, if we learn and try to understand, CBSE syllabus is also easy when compared to State Board syllabus.

Re: Is CBSE syllabus is difficult than any state board?
CBSE and State Syllabus are now Maintained in par with each other now But the Statndard of CBSE is more than that of the state .
But When it comes to admission in colleges after 12th CBSE results get normalized and a state student scores 5-10% more as compared to when if was in CBSE. Thus both have their upsides and downside FOR QUALITY- CBSE FOR MARKS AND ADMISSION - STATE |

Re: Is CBSE syllabus is difficult than any state board?
Every thing is depend on your think. If you think that this board is tough than the other board then it will be tough for you.It is not possible to say that which board is toughest than the other.Every thing is depend on your preparation and study. If you study smartly and do hard work then every thing will be easy for you.So don't think about it that which board is tough,do your study with Concentration on study.

Re: Is CBSE syllabus is difficult than any state board?
Whatever board you choose, the child has to have grasping power, its not State Board is bad, a lot of people have passed out of stae boards and have cracked many exams and come out with flying colours this ICSE CBSE are just aabit diffrent from the State boards.
The basic education of the child begins from home and not from other boards, we love to compare between boards to feel satified, which should not be the case all our childred belong to India and Inida should have just one boards for all students in the country so the country progresses and not compares. |
