Effect of 12th marks on JEE Main rank?


Hello sir, I have completed 12th and got 78% marks. I was applies for JEE Main exam and got 134 marks. Can I get good rank to get admission in reputed NIT colleges? Effect of 12th marks on JEE Main rank?

Yes, definitely your 12th standard examination marks will have effect on your JEE Main examination rank. The JEE Main examination rank is calculated by taking 60% weightage from your JEE Main examination marks you have secured and remaining 40% weightage will be taken from your 12th standard examination marks. Since you have secured 78% marks in your 12th standard and 134 marks in JEE Main examination, your JEE Main examination rank will be more than the rank required to get admission in NIT.
