Re: How many times 12th passed student appear for JEE MAIN exam?
JEE stands for the Joint Entrance Examination and the examination is conducted d by the CBSE every year for the aspirant who want to join the government institutions to pursue the B.E/B.tech courses.
The maximum number of attempts to appear in the examination is three consecutive years taking the first as the year of appearing in the 10+2 board examination. So for the 12th passed candidate there are only two more attempts for the JEE Main. After qualifying in the Mains examination candidates become eligible to appear in the next stages. On the basis of the Mains score candidates are eligible to get the admission in the NIT and other government institutes. For more information about the examination visit at the www.cbse.nic.in |

Re: How many times 12th passed student appear for JEE MAIN exam?
JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination and the same examination is held by CBSE once every year for the selection of students for their bachelor of engineering/ technology/ architecture course from top governement engineering colleges like IIT, NIT, IIT, ISM.
The same examination is held in two stage which are called as JEE Mains and JEE Advance and are held in mentioned order. The eligibility criteria for appearing in the stage first of JEE i.e; JEE Mains are as here under :- * You must have higher secondary degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects with at least 50% aggregate in each from a recognized board of education. * Your age must be within 17 years to 25 years till the final date of year in which you are willing to give the same examination. --> But for the stage of JEE i.e; JEE Advance you are required to qualify the JEE Mains along with that much percentage of marks in your 12th board so that you last in the top 20 percentile students of your respective board. The maximum attempts provided for cracking the same examination is three times. Re: How many times 12th passed student appear for JEE MAIN exam?
JEE stands for the Joint Entrance Examination. Any candidate who has done 10+2 from a recognized board with PCM subjects as compulsory subjects, you can appear for this exam. Even 10+2 appearing candidates can apply for the exam.
The number of attempts for candidates of any category for JEE Mains is only three times. For example if you have appeared in CBSE 10+2 exam in 2015, you can attempt JEE mains exam in 2015, 2016 and 2017 respectively. Once you clear the JEE mains with better rank, you become eligible for JEE advanced exam for which only two consecutive attempts are allowed. |
