I am studing in 1st puc ncert sylabbus i just wanted to know how much % or weightage does ncert text books have in the final exams, are the questions taken from ncert books or from other text books..??

The questions in the final exams are entirely based on the syllabus mentioned in the NCERT books. Most of the time it is seen that that 80-90 percent questions are from the direct questions mentioned in the NCERT book which can be from the back exercise or within the chapter. If you are well acquainted with the concepts and read all the lines mentioned in the chapters of NCERT thoroughly, you can definitely score more than 90 percent in the concerned subject. For english or other languages you need to have good depth knowledge to score good marks apart from being thorough with the chapters of NCERT.

In class 10 (cbse) maths, is completing the square method involved in syllabus ?
