Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th ISC to apply for JEE Advanced?
* Student who are in top 20 percentile in their board exam and who have cleared the JEE main are eligible to appear in JEE Advance.
* But now it is changed, the students who have secured 75% of marks in their XII board Exam and qualified in the JEE main also eligible to appear in the JEE Advance. |

Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th ISC to apply for JEE Advanced?
12th class marks doesn't matters in ICSE Board main thing that matters that is how many marks you get in JEE (Mains) Joint Entrance Exam. For JEE advance you must need to clear JEE mains exam after qualifying the exam you are eligible for the JEE Advance its not an easy job to qualify JEE mains you need to study harder and harder
JEE (Main) for admission B. E. /B.Tech and JEE mains will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced) JEE (Advance) for admission in IIT |

Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th ISC to apply for JEE Advanced?
No there is no specific aggregate required for each of the board to become eligible for the Advance examination. JEE examination is conducted by the CBSE every year to make the dream of candidates of pursuing tye B.tech form the IIT,NIT and other colleges cones true.
The examiantion is conducted in two stages as Mains and Advance examination. The eligibility to apply for the Mains examination is :- * Candidate who are pursuing or passed the 10+2 board examiarion are eligible. * Candidate must have PCM as main subjects. And the candidate who qualifies in the Mains examination are eligible for the Advance examination. There is relaxation on the cut off marks for the reserved category candidates. So it is necessary to qualify in the Mains to become eligible for the Advance. The final rank is prepared on the basis of Mains , board and Advance result. Then the candidate are alloted the colleges on the basis of rank. For more information visit at www.cbse.nic.in The examianyion for the Mains will be available from the November and the examination will be conducted in the month of April and for the candidate who qualifies for the Advance will be conducted in the May. |

Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th ISC to apply for JEE Advanced?
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts JEE Mains and Advance examination for admission in B.Tech course mainly in IIT(Indian Institute of Technology) and NIT(National Institute of Technology) and also in some of the state engineering colleges who give admission on the basis of JEE Mains rank.
Number of attempts is limited to three in JEE Mains and two in Advance including appearing year of 12th and continuously in the following year of board examination. Students qualified in JEE Mains and in top 20 percentile of the 12th boards result are allowd to appear for JEE Advance. So, minimum percentage in 12th examination depends upon two factors -From which board student is appearing fo 12th examination -What is the highest marks secured in the board. Also, every board after declaring their 12th results publishes a list of top 20 percentile students . |

Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th ISC to apply for JEE Advanced?
No there is no special aggregate fixed to qualify for the JEE Advance examination. JEE Advance examination is conducted by the CBSE every year and the candidates who qualifies in the first stage ( Mains ) are only eligible for the Advance.
So the eligibility to apply for the Mains examination is :- * Candidate must have passed or pursuing the 10+2 from a recognised board. * Candidate must have PCM as main subjects in the board examination. The application for the JEE examination is available from the month of November and the examination is conducted in the month of April. The 1,50,000 candidate who qualifies in it are eligible to appear for the Advance examination. In the Advance examination 10,000 students qualifies who are eligible to get the admission in IIT. The Advance examination is conducted in the last of May and the role of the board marks is important while preparing the rank card. For more information visit at www.CBSE.nic.in. |

Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th ISC to apply for JEE Advanced?
Generally there is No percentage criteria required to apply for JEE Advanced Exam since the basic eligibility criteria is required for JEE Main's Only.
And also you need to have Minimum rank is below 1,50,000. So if you have a rank below the cut off rank then only your are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced Exam. Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced : <> You must have satisfied the Eligibility criteria as JEE Main's <> In addition to you should have secured a rank about below 1,50,000. <> Age should be below 25 years for General <> And there is a Age relaxation for SC/ST and Reserved candidates about 5 years. |

Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th ISC to apply for JEE Advanced?
For appearing JEE mains examination you need to clarify JEE preliminary exam. Basically minimum score require for giving this examination is 60% for general category candidate while 50 - 55% are required for SC/ST/OBC candidate.
Minimum cutoff marks criteria is used in JEE exam. If a candidate clarify and score more or equal to minimum cutoff marks then he/she will be eligible for giving JEE mains/advance exam unless not. |

Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th ISC to apply for JEE Advanced?
Minimum Percentage required in 12th Class to be eligible for JEE Advanced:
>> There is no certain minimum percentage criteria is required to be eligible for JEE Advanced Examination, instead you must have secured 50% marks in 12th Class or Intermediate in 10+2 pattern from CBSE/ ISC or its equivalent. >> Candidates those who successfully qualify this JEE Main Examination and those who would be among the top 1,50,000 in JEE Main examination only are eligible. >> So the only eligibility criteria you are required to meet for giving JEE Advanced Examination is "To be among top 1,50,000" candidates. If can secure good marks and stand in top 1,50,000 members then you are certainly eligible to appear in JEE Advanced Examination. >> Besides this, you must have born or or after 1st October 1990 (General and OBC Non Creamy Layer Categories) and on or after 1st October 1985 (in case of SC, ST and PWD Category). >> Remember you can attempt JEE Advanced Examination a maximum of 2 times and that too in the consecutive years only. |
